The Marine Bear's Philosophy

Here at Kennel Marine Bear's we don't settle for mediocracy.
We strive to combine health, beauty and temperament.
What else would you want?
A dog should make a perfect companion but also be able to work and live up to the breed standard.

Breeding is not an exact science, but we try to eliminate
any problems by only using healthy & correct dogs....if they don't make the cut they will not be breed from.
We also evaluate the offspring to make sure we're on the right track.

Due to lack of time and space we will not breed any litters while Magdalena finnishes her Veterinary Degree in England.

But you are more than welcome to contact us with any questions or advice on where you can find that special
puppie you're looking for!

/Åsa & Magdalena

Åsa Svedén Engvall
A true passion for animals since childhood just made it natural for Åsa to become involved in the world of dogs in later life.
Having an excellent start in competitions she later moved on to become a successful trainer and judge.
And of course the family dogs and breeding has always been a part of that passion.
Due to her sheer devotion to the dogsport and her financial & timeconsuming care of the kennel, she's without a doubt the core of Kennel Marine Bear's.

Magdalena Nordmark
Growing up in a family with lots of animals around gave her a compassionate interest for animals and nature.
The decision to become a Veterinary Surgeon was made at early childhood and she now studies Veterinary Science at the University of Liverpool in England.
A particular interest for dog shows and handling has made way for some of the kennels success, and her love for Kerry Blue
Terriers made sure that the breed is here to stay.
And if the photographs of the dogs has passed you by, photography is another of the passions in her live.

Gunnar Engvall
Devoted husband and father. Gunnar is like a pillar to lean against when it gets windy. Without his help and support, the kennels success would never have been possible.
